Digital files only. No printed parts, filament, tools or hardware are supplied. AI-assisted CAD scripting was used.
Start small. Check the fit.
Print both bore strips and check the full key length, coatings and ball ends. Mounts require rear board access and M4 hardware. This is not a universal pegboard hook.
No physical print or fit test has been performed. Print settings are starting points.
01 / THE DESIGN
Useful details, open to adjustment.
Keyper is a two-module pegboard holder for common metric L-shaped hex keys. Long legs pass downward through vertical round bores; elbows rest on the deck. The small module covers 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, and 6 mm across flats. The large module covers 8 and 10 mm. The bores use the circumscribed hex diameter plus 0.6 mm total clearance, not the across-flats size. Keep elbows pointing forward.
Nominal pegboard pitch is 25.4 mm. The two mount spans are 101.6 mm and 50.8 mm. The plate uses 4.5 mm holes with teardrop roofs; this holder bolts through the board instead of relying on printed hooks. Rear access, board-hole clearance, and usable screw length are required. Per holder, use two M4 bolts, two nuts, and broad washers. For a 6 mm board, M4 x 16 mm is a starting point; measure your full stack first. Printed 2 mm washers are optional rear spacers.
Print deck down in PETG, 0.20 mm layers, 5 walls, 30% gyroid, 5 top/bottom layers, supports off. PLA is a cool-workshop alternative. The upright backplate grows directly from the deck. Print the bore strips first and verify full key travel without forcing. Hand-tighten fasteners. This is for hand hex keys, not a load-rated general tool shelf. Adjust board pitch, bolt clearance, key clearance, and backplate thickness in source.

Orientation
Deck bottom on bed; backplate upright. Do not lay the backplate down.
Unverified starting points; use filament and printer guidance, tune coupons.
Preserve the shared library path when editing OpenSCAD. Adjust the fit parameter and re-export; do not scale the entire STL to fix a clearance.
