BEFORE YOU PRINT

A few straight answers.

Files, fit, licensing and the details that matter.

Printing

Am I buying a finished physical object?

No. These are digital ZIP bundles with STL files, editable source and documentation. A printer, filament, slicer, tools and any mounting hardware are not included. Sales are not open in this preview.

Have these parts been physically tested?

No physical print or fit test has been performed. Computational geometry checks are recorded in the model packages. They do not prove printed fit, strength, temperature resistance or durability.

Where should I start with printer settings?

Each product page lists its own starting points. The supplied defaults use a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.20 mm layers. Tune your filament and printer using a fit coupon or the smallest part. Supports-off guidance is unverified on a physical printer.

Will it fit my printer or hardware?

Compare the nominal bounds with your usable bed area, including slicer margins. Measure the mating hardware. The full 19 inch Railleaf panel is 482.6 mm wide; the 241.3 mm halves are the smaller-bed option. No universal hardware compatibility is claimed.

How do I edit a design?

Open its SCAD source in OpenSCAD, keep the included shared library in its relative location, change the documented parameters, render and export a new STL. Adjust clearance parameters instead of scaling an entire model. Recheck dimensions and test a small piece after changes.

Licensing and files

Can I sell prints or share a remix?

CC-BY-4.0 allows commercial use, sharing and adaptations with attribution, a license link and an indication of changes. Do not imply endorsement. Source code is MIT. Read the license page and full terms.

What is inside a download?

Every product page lists the exact archive contents and checksum. Bundles include the family’s STL variants, OpenSCAD and shared library, CAD renders, dimension guide, print settings, license documents, validation snapshot and platform draft copy. There is no printer G-code or production slicer profile.

Refunds — DRAFT

Draft for review, not an active sale policy. The proposed approach is to contact the workbench about a corrupt, missing or incorrectly described file so the problem can be reviewed. Refund eligibility, request window and processing time remain TODO before sales open. Any final policy must preserve mandatory consumer rights and comply with the marketplace rules that apply. No blanket “no refunds” promise is made.

For file questions, contact the workbench. Do not send payment details, credentials or personal records.
